Commercial Boating Electronics Services

While transiting from Florida to the Canadian Maritimes I contacted Mid-Shore Electronics on short notice requesting time to install a backup battery in our AIS and to correct coupling of the nav to autopilot. They offered complimentary berthing in front of their facility. Their shop has an extensive workbench with testing equipment and a large inventory of equipment and parts. I arrived on Sunday & they were on the boat early Monday morning.

My electronics are 12 years old and require more knowledge and skill than the current generation of plug and play equipment. The owner Frank came aboard and with his 25+ years of experience recommended improvements necessary to resolve my problems & added a few items to our list.

We were delayed a few days waiting for parts & they were most accommodating with local information & access to food provisioning. Frank and his crew allowed us to help in the rewiring & R&R of equipment to keep the labor charges down while they explained everything thoroughly.

The last day Frank did a lengthy sea trial fine tuning & further explaining the upgrades installed.

I would definitely trust MSE to tackle anything electronics from minor repairs to major installations.
